uDesktop NEXT - vast wallpaper collection App Reviews

Doesn’t seem to work in Mavericks.. After one half hour it seems to have begun to work.. The jury is still out.

My main Mac uses an Apple Cinema display which has a resultion of 2560x1440. There are very few images available at this resolution. There are many available at 2560x1600, but this isnt ideal. When you select a resolution in the control panel you appear to get all images at the resolution you have indicated PLUS all higher resolutions at the same time. I would MUCH prefer to get ONLY the exact resolution images that I select. If I actually WANT larger images I can simple change my selection. This seems a better use of the selection mechanism. A very nice additional feature which IMHO would make this application stand out among many other similar programs would be the addition of a function that would also generate and set a screen saver based on the image selected.

I just downloaded this app and it has some of the best wallpapers that I have seen! They are very clear and unique!

This is an extremely high quality app. The pictures are better than several websites I’ve paid for. Plus you can pull the pictures out of the app and do anything you want with them. All resolutions…from old iPhones to 4K, 6K, and 8K resolutions. Impressive selection. Great Job Developer!!!

selection of walpapers is excelent and app is very simple to use but also provide additional optional advanced search options. Recommended!
